Introductory offshore sailing taster days on the sheltered wasters of the Solent onboard our Dufour 390 Yacht “Sea Essay”. Try your hand at sailing with a CSSA approved Skipper and an experienced Mate! A great fun day out for those new to yachting.

The day commences with a safety brief, then we motor down the Hamble River to Southampton Water, raise the sails and then head into the waters of the Solent. We often stop for lunch at anchor or in a nearby harbour before raising sail again for the return passage to Mercury Yacht Harbour.

CSSC Offshore Taster Days

CSSC have included Day Sails in their taster day programme. Application for berths should be made on the CSSC web site where you can find a list of CSSC sponsored Taster Days on Sea Essay.

Group Day Sails

Group Day Sails are days that are arranged specifically for a group of people from the same organisation, department or just a group of friends. We will provide a qualified and experienced skipper and mate.
